We hope to see you at this evening's Art Show beginning at 5 p.m. 

There is one more day for you to visit the book fair. Last day is tomorrow April 30. 

Last day to submit auditions for our May 14 Talent Show is April 30. 

Please check your email/class dojo for notes on our dance performance costumes. The dance performance is May 14.  Each class is different. If you have questions, please contact your child's teacher. 

As the temperature continues to rise, please remember to send a leak/spill proof water bottle with your child. 

Next week in Language Arts we will practice Rule 15 (the phonogram si is used to say /sh/ at the beginning of a second or later syllable in a base word when the syllable before it ends in an s), month of the year, Rule 24 (words that end with a consonant and y, the y changes to i before adding a suffix that begins with a vowel), verb tense, and Rule 22 (when full is added to a base word it is written with only one l).

Today we had the opportunity to participate in the 5th grade DARE graduation ceremony and watch some super cool BMX riders.

Next week in Language Arts we will practice Rule 14 (the phonograms ti, si, and ci are the spellings most used to /sh/ at the beginning of a second or later syllable), something as an indefinite pronoun, verb tense, Rule 17 (all is written with 2 l's, but when it is written with a base word one l is used), complex sentences, and more.

 Dear Parents and Families,

Our Book Fair will be held April 26-30. Family night is Monday, April 26 and will include a bounce house, games, and pizza. There is no cost to attend. We hope to see you there.

The Talent Show is May 14. For performing arts a video audition is required by April 30. Send to Anna Reimers. All other entries are due to Mrs. Reimers by April 30.

As the weather warms, PLEASE send a WATER BOTTLE with your child to leave at school. Please make sure it is leak and spill proof ie: no twist tops. 

Next week in Language Arts we will practice consonant + y changes to i when adding a suffix, verbs may show changing time, and literary appreciation.

Great Brain presentations continue throughout next week. 

Kickball sign ups for LaVerkin city begin next week if anyone is interested. 

Next week in Language Arts we will practice syllable division patterns, prefixes, past tense verbs, verb pairs,  and Rule 21 (all written alone has 2 l's, but when it is written with another syllable, only 1 l is written). We will also be taking our monthly 70 phonogram assessment. No spelling test.
