Dear Parents and Families,
We have had a wonderful week in first grade. Please ask your child for some information about soil. 

Next week is a short week and we will be reviewing previously learned concepts. We will continue with spelling words after Fall Break.

Fall Break would be a fantastic time for practice tying shoes!
Please make sure that your child is practicing their spelling words several time throughout the week as well as reading for 20 minutes every day!
Please make sure your child is here on time every day! Fridays are important! Please make sure your child is here each day. We plan and teach each day of the week.

After Fall Break we will be practicing suffix 's', conjunctions, and related sentences.
