 Hello grownups!

We look forward to meeting with you at next week's SEPs. February 24, 25, and 26 are minimum days and will dismiss at 12:45. 

In the next couple of weeks we will be introducing our first grade students to the GREAT BRAIN project. The Great Brain project is on ANY topic that your child chooses. Examples include horses, sports, mermaids, mac n cheese, orcas, cereal, anything! This project will be presented to their class using a format of their choice. This can include one of the following: poster, PowerPoint, artifacts, books, etc. We will send home a hard copy info sheet at the beginning of March and send out a link to a Sign Up Genius. We would love to have you join us for your child's presentation. More information to follow!

Our social studies focus this month is Famous African Americans for Black History month. 

Next week in Language Arts we will practice Rule 26 (proper nouns), ABC order, the suffix 'er' and writing.

In Go Math we will continue with Chapter 8: 2 Digit Addition and Subtraction.
