 Hello Parents and Families, 

Please make sure your child wears a mask!!

Valentine's Day falls on a weekend this year, but we will still celebrate Thursday, February 11. We will be making Valentine's bags in class this year. If your child already has a Valentine's box they may bring that. Please do not worry about writing classmate names on each Valentine. Just have your child write their name in the from section.

Next week is also our in person presentations from the Ogden Nature Preserve. These presentations will be held outside. Please make sure your child is appropriately dressed for the weather and brings outerwear as necessary.

Next week in Language Arts we will practice adjectives, suffixes 'er', 'ing', and 'ly', opinions, and Rule 10 (when we add a suffix to a word with two syllables and the second syllable is accented and ends in one consonant, with one vowel before it, we write a second final consonant before adding the suffix that begins with a vowel).

In Go Math we will continue Chapter 7 and test on Wednesday, February 10. We will then begin Chapter 8: Two Digit Addition and Subtraction.
