 Dear Parents and Families,

We have had a busy and fun week in first grade. Please ask your student about the rock cycle. 

Next week is Spirit Week. Please see the upcoming events for a detailed schedule.

As the weather changes and begins to cool, please send a jacket with your child.

Also, please remember to continue to send your child with a mask. Teachers are running out and we will not have extras available. 

Next week in Language Arts we will be practicing rhymes, rule 26 (words that are capitalized), the suffix 'es', present tense action verbs, the phonogram 'ed', and related sentences.
