 Hello Parents and Families,

From hats to celebrities to costumes we have had a colorful and exciting week in first grade.

Please note that Monday, Nov. 2 is a teacher training day. No school for students. 

Students still need water bottles. Please make sure your child has a leak proof water bottle to keep at their table/desk. 

Students need to come to school with masks. Please pack a spare in your child's backpack. Disposable masks break very easily.  Teachers are running out of masks. We will soon no longer be able to provide them. Please keep your child at home if they are sick. 

Next week in Language Arts we will practice rhymes, rule 26 ( words that are names or titles are capitalized), irregular plural nouns, present tense action verbs, and the phonogram 'ed'.

In Go Math, we will test on Chapter 3 on Wednesday, Nov. 4. We will then begin Chapter 4: Subtraction Strategies.

Upcoming Events:

Oct. 30- Costume Day at School

                2nd Annual Spooktacular. Students should be at the school at 6:30 in costume. 

Nov. 2- No School
